i have rota svn 18x10.5 in gunmetal, i took it to a local tire installer and they never had a problem installing it. 8k miles on them and still fine. your concern will be how they will balance it, and where to put the weights...theres a thread for it on this site...easy...looks sick and aggressive...

some wheels will have a different wall design which will not let certain type of tpms sensor sit in right on them, i heard that before.
It is actually not the Rota design fault, if that really happens then you can blame some "bigger names " legitametly. Im sure you know why ... LOL

The OEM TPMS sensors are compatible with the Rota SVN regardless of the wheel size (18x9 or 18x10 "R"). I would suggest having another tech look at it or take it to another shop.

Now depending on the wheel size.. you may have to mount the wheel weights further in on the wheel barrel. The Rota SVN-R (18x10 +20) has such a large lip that it limits caliper clearance. Due to the lip you will have to mount the wheel weights further in on the caliper side so that they don't contact the caliper.

I got the 18x9 svn, went to firestone(2nd shop) and same result, they say It won't fit beacuse of the wheel design... Before I purchase the wheel did some research found that they will fit.. I'll try my luck to the dealer and will see..
