Need a quick answer. Brake pad swap

Im about to replace my brake pads for the first time. Is it mandatory to bleed the brakes? I have a video on youtube that someone posted on here on swapping brake pads so i know everything i have to do i just need to know if bleeding the brakes is mandatory because i do not know how to do that.

Not mandatory, but with your car already being 2-3 years old it's time to flush out the old fluid and put in new stuff.

Yeah. It won't hurt to do them. But while you're down there I would change the fluid. But again, it's not needed.

Alright ill have to search up some good brake fluid then and find a diy on how to bleed brakes.
