im buying a set of volks ce28n genesis 18x9.5+22 and i was wondering what tire size would be appropriate? i thinking of getting some coilovers soon and i dont want to roll my fenders.

Well I'm running 255/35/18. The rims originally came with 265's but I opted for the slightly smaller tire. The rear fenders look like they were rolled by the previous owner. Same rim size and offset as your wheels. No rubbing issues at all. My car is not slammed either.

 

I have that size and offset rim, I use 265/35/18 tire is wonderful, on swift springs my driver side rear would scrape the fender on hard turns and with passengers. but 265 is the correct tire for 9.5

 

265 is the right tire but depending on the camber you might need a slight roll on the rear. To avoid that you probably want to go with a 255.

 

I had to go with 255's since my tires were shot and that is all Americas Tire centre had.

 

265/35/18 on a 9.5 would be perfect

 

Is 9.5 with a +22 offset too wide for the car? It seems pretty crazy, for Subaru's I was running a +44 offset!! How wide can the EVO X go without rubbing?
