These are daily driving tires you're looking for? Anyway, if you're in Miami, do you need all season at all?

Even with soft tires (300 wear rating on the kdws), if you're doing mostly highway driving, I'm surprised they only got you 10k miles. You might want to check your alignment, or consider your driving habits. Regardless, if you are worried about the life of your tires, you might want to go with something that has a higher tread wear rating (probably 400+). If you want the grippy, high-performance summer tires, you should remember that you have to pay to play.

I just came from a set of Kook V12s after of 16k miles of solid use, to a set of Dunlop Sport Max TTs and though they only have a few 100 miles on them, they're absolutely superior in every single way. Superior turn-in and feel, response, grip, wet/rain, and best of all, the high speed stability is much better, an area that I always thought the Kooks were week in.

Yes, they cost more, but there's a $80 rebate right now making them the same price and even cheaper on some sites. Tire Rack has a full road test comparing them both.

What about some cheap federal 595 rs-r?

I just put some Hankook RS3's on and they are fantastic, not sure how long they will last, we'll see.

Depends on what you want. For example, I got barely over 8k on my ADVAN's, DD and highway, no motorsporting. Then I got 10k out of Dunlop Star Spec Z1's, two track weekends (four days). Ultra HP summer tires will get you around that. Don't expect more.

Having said that, I'm a high mileage user. I've also gotten over 24k out of some Yoko W4S all-seasons. They were not confidence inspiring when new, no tracking, and had all that rubber! It was definitely not the same ride (soft tho!). Towards the end of their lives, they got better dry performance, but also failed me with my wife in when she locked em up sliding down my driveway and put it into a tree, tread on the rears where I could'nt see it as well had let me down. Great value though, they were pretty cheap.

I'm now on ContiExtreme ContractDWS ASRs. So far, they're like the previous all-seaons, but I fear I'm wearing them down pretty fast with some mentality that takes every turn like an HPDE and trying to hit apex and throttle out, unwinding the wheel til out of road. Not conducive for high mileage is it? Oh, those Conti's were bad to the bone at an HPDE session that was soaking wet. OMG were they awesome and quick.

After lowing did you get an alignment? Sounds like you have alignment issues that aided in killing the set of tires.
