Evo X GSR with MR Shocks?

I was curious if I was to buy the Evo X MR Bilstein shocks, would they work on my GSR without any issues?

No. They will destroy your car. Your junk will shrivel up and fall off. You'll go numb from the neck down.

But they'd be perfect on my car.

So, send them to me.

[do I need the snark tag?]

Got it...how about mixing Bilstein shocks off the MR with Swift springs instead of Eibach?

Swift or GTWorx. And others like the ProKits, too. I, personally, would get GTWorx.

The MR / SE Bilsteins fit the GSR. You should look at the spring rate chart in the sticky to determine how firm and how low you want it. I have the gtworx springs on my SE Bilsteins and I think the Bilsteins are under-damped stock and need to be re-valved. At high speed the car is not as planted as it could be. The Swift Spec R is rated he same as the gtworx but it's too low and changes the suspension geometry too much, IMO. Unless you re-valve the Bilsteins, I think you should pair them with softer springs.

I'm actually getting the GTWORX springs installed onto my bilsteins as well in the coming weeks. Perfect match IMO

Will work mate.

In Australia they offer these Bilsteins on the GSR. Its called a Performance pack and it comes with the Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs (not lowered), MR front rotors and MR BBS wheels.

This is what i have now.

thats cool...

i just picked up my gtworx springs and i'm so excited to throw it on my gsr.

regarding the performance package, i wonder how much difference all those modifications make on the gsr in the track.

i know the sst transmission has a lot to do with the mr being faster but i bet those 2 piece rotors, lighter bbs rims, and bilstein make a difference too. especially the rotors and rims. thats almost 7lbs of unsprung weight from each wheel!!!!

diesti, do you know how the gsr with the performance package fairs against the mr on the track?

i thought the MR suspension was softer since it is for touring so wouldn't it be softer?

the Bilstein in stock form will give you a little bit better ride (smoother) but some review stating you loose a bit of cornering. I personally dont belive that but that is what they say in the magazine's.
If you do a performance springs update on them , defenietly a better set up then a stock GSR KYB's, that is not even a question.

but you guys dont have a "MR " trim right? Only GSR and RS . SO the GSR can be bought with SST and so on so forth, so the end it is basically very simular or a same as a MR trim here.
If i know it right.
I personally like a lot the Eibach pro springs.
