I'll go a step further than your mere asking the same question twice.

If you're getting an increase in tire-wear from installing a RCK, then you're doing it wrong.

i wouldn't pay $5000 for those ohlins even though they are great. I would move straight into dual Motons if I was spending $5000.

My guess is that Chad is refering to pre-mature bushing wear on the bushings that come with the Whiteline RCK, and not tire wear.

I don't have it yet, but its one of the parts I was planning on getting in the next month or 2... but I don't wanna get it if I'm gonna have to replace it 3 months later...

There are no bushings. As you said, it's just two sets of new ball-joints with long stalks. And before someone jumps in to say "fine, it's the new ball-joints that wear out quicker than OE" please be ready to back it up.

As to the Perrin gizmos for the inboard-rear of the lower LCA, these could affect tire wear because they have less compliance than OE.

so is there anything that wears out way to fast on whiteline RCK that should keep me from getting it? if the whiteline parts last me 5 years instead of the stock 10, i'll be ok. I just don't want something that will wear out in one season...

you are talking about two different things- and the ohlins are around 3200---

they are single adjustable-

Moton isnt really a brand anymore- they were purchased by AST-

we deal and dealt- with moton, JRZ, penske, ohlins and so on...

the ohlins are THE BEST road and weekend track warrior package hands down- and Bryan from JRZ is a friend of mine and wont like hearing me say that-

That being said- if you want to run a motorsport adjustable damper- then yes- a 2 way or 3 way is a good way to go- if you want to have to check canister charge pressures, revalve every year so on...

as for the whiteline stuff-

we have replaced a few kits for track clients- first issue is the insulators/covers for the lowers tend to crack IMMEDIATELY from heat from the brakes on big hp track cars--- and we've replaced them because of play-

that being said- we use them but we tend to order new OEM boots---

I feel that the perrin PSRS offers the best "Feel" and functional upgrade for the front end of these cars-

but- noone has to agree with me
