I have *heard* that they are crap, I would guess about the same as BC's. I also have SpecR's on bilsteins and I'm debating on a lower setup.

Personally I would go with Fortune or a friend of mine has Tien SuperStreet and they are pretty comfy for DD (however the ride height is only adjustabe through spring tension.. if you know what I mean)

On a cheaper side Eibachs drop were excellent, but a bit low for stock shocks.

i heard bc is crap.. i only found 2 reviews on isc but both sounds okay. i head lots of good things on futune auto but with full upgrade options it will be out of budget a bit. if i go for futuen auto, do i need to have the optional upgrade to have a good ride quality?

Let's be clear about what the shop that recommended ISC coilovers did to that Evo X. They slammed it into the ground without installing any roll-center correction. In other words, they do not really know what they're doing. Ergo, the fact that they like ISCs says nothing (positive) about said coilovers.

i wont argue which shops do good work or know whats whats... just simply posting a review from a forum sponsor customer (which just happens to own a very documented evo x TA car)... which you can feel free to judge if you want. Kozmic Tuning runs these on their world record setting MR as well so maybe they can give you an UNBIASED opinion (since they dont really advertise them on the forums)?

Just for the record I have never bought from either of the shops listed... just stating facts

this was 1 of the review i read before. But he lowering his car without RCA kit, it sounds like he may not know a lot on suspension set up. maybe i am wrong, i heard rca kit is a must for our car when its lowered.

It really depends on how low you go and the angle of your control arms. I wouldn't consider it a necessity but it can certainly be beneficial.
