Stop.

It's been said several times that you must take the design of the spokes into account when talking about clearing (the outside of) the calipers. Spoke design is wheel specific. If you don't have or know the details of Rota Grids, don't try to answer this question.

The Rota Grids are TE37 knock offs, similar spoke design.

OP, they'll fit.

Interesting.

If that's what was going through Rexxer's mind when he or she posted, then OK. But taking the few extra seconds to explain the reasoning, as you did, would be a plus. As it stood, Rexxer's post came across (to me, at least) as suggesting that all that matters is offset and that's definitely not true.

The only other question I'd have is how similar?

I know the volk te37 + 22 offsets would clear but the rotas have different concavity on their grids its not a 100% te37 ... Hopeful some actual rota grid owners can chime in...

It's okay I know every time I post you have to try and bash me.. But being a very similar design and knowing someone with that wheel and offset that's where I am coming from. Goodbye.

Not trying to "bash" you; I'm trying to prevent folks from buying wheels that won't fit. If you know someone with 18x9.5 +22 Rota Grids, then please say this (in your first post). It makes little sense (to me) to only say that you have +22 TE37 that fit, even if they are very similar.

check with a Rota dealer, given they are modeled after the TE37 you'd think they fit, but since the materials and construction are different Rota might need to make the spokes thicker or might have a different concave on the inner barrel to compensate for wheel strength. Chances are that even though they look similar there might be small differences that make fitment completely different.

You can't go off of similar type wheels. Varrstoen ES2's are almost an exact copy of TE37's as well and the +22 offsets don't clear the front brakes without a 5mm spacer.

ES2's are nowhere near an exact TE37 copy. Spoke dimensions are way different.

OP, if you searched, you'd find many people and pictures of people running Grids in 18x9.5 +22.

Yes i searched and i had the same wheels on my evo 8 and needed at least 3mm spacers to clear front brembos... Most people have +20 offsets and not sure about the the X fitment but thanks!

I don't think they'll fit. You'll need to go with +20.
