Front sway

Hello,

I'll be having a lot of work to my car in a few weeks. Carbonetics twin clutch, ohlins, replacing all trans, diff and engine bushing with stiffer ones. I currently have a front roll center kit and rear whiteline sway. Shop is telling me a front sway will help a lot. I'm just curious if it will make dialing out understeer more difficult.

Thanks

if you go with the whiteline 26mm in front, like mine, its adjustable to 3 different settings so it'll be of help to your taste. What size is your rear one?

The rear is the biggest one they sell. Forgot the mm. But if I get a front sway and end up tuning in on softest setting wouldn't that defeat the purpose or is the softest still stiffer than stock?

Did you get endlinks with it? For some reason I don't see end links on map's site for the front.

I know it's a ***** to instal. I'm assuming it's easier to adjust?

How do you like it? Feel a difference after installed?

Thanks

Well I just spoke to Chad regarding my ohlins and he recommended the Perrin PSRS kit instead of the sway. I was looking at that awhile ago, maybe I'll try that.

I have the Whiteline rear. It is 27mm AND also 3 way adjustable. Whatever you do do not buy their end links. Talk about problems.

The noise? It's normal.

No. No it is not normal. Trust me if you are hearing noises you are probably increasing the hole diameter on the sway bar. I would inspect it just to be sure.

I don't have mine installed yet, but I will soon and report back. But from what I've read, slight noise is normal. Either that or improper installation.

What end links are you gonna use? Avoid the Whiteline end links. Very problematic.

Wish I could find the thread again on where I got my info from when I had decided to do the swaybars. It was saying that on awd you want to have a bigger one in front than the rear, and that id need front end links. I went with the whiteline 26mm front 24mm rear and whiteline front end links. Yes, those end links are universal garbage, steer clear of those. Alot of people I notice say its a pita of an install for the front one. A friend of mine and I who have never done sway bars installed them and when we got done we thought the front wasnt as bad as everyone had preached about. More intimidating than anything when they start chirping about disconnecting the subframe. After we test drove my car, my friend immediately ordered them for his 300zx too. They even do make a difference with a good set of coilovers. Go for it, its worth it

I have had my whiteline rear sway and endlinks on the car for about 40k miles and no noises.

I'm just wondering if I should add the front.
