Rear Strut Part - identification

Hello ...

Need your help to identify a part. I have looked at the manual and there is no mention of it.

I was going to assemble the MR struts I purchased a while back. I noticed that I am missing the part the slides into the rear strut bumper. Don't know the same of it or part number. Here is a picture of the part.

The bumper/damper (#10 on the rear suspension assembly diagram) sits on this spacer.

Have you tried the parts search engine many of us use?

Yes I have. It is not pointed out nor has a part #, which leads me to believe that is part of the strut.

That makes sense. Some items are just part of an assembly & not sold as a separate item.

What are your choices? New struts or maybe a conversion over to coilovers? or finding a take-off set of struts that are complete w/that part?

Wonder what that slider does & if its really needed? I bet many Evo owners have these sitting around on their old struts not used any more

The "Ring/slider" is inserted into the bumper/damper to hold it in place on the shock absorber.

Maybe give a shop like this a call?

I see a couple bump stop washers/guides but they don't look right but they might be able to find what you need.
