SuperPro Duroball - holes in the polyurethane?

Does anyone else have the SuperPro Duroball busing [DURO3441K] for their EVO X? Please let me know if yours has massive holes drilled in the polyurethane. The pictures show it's solid.
I'm concerned it will give too much flexibility, the whole reason switching to these is to reduce that.

Yea, that was an "update" they did to save money, supposedly it doesn't effect performance, but an IX with them split them at the holes soo.... Go look through the 2024 STU thread.

That's just great... Thanks for the info though, I appreciate it.
Do you know if the non-offset version [DURO3439K] has the holes too? I may exchange it, that minimal extra caster probably doesn't worth it.
What about the rear ones [DURO3737K] and [DURO3725K], I have ordered those too, waiting for them to ship. Pictures show solid but I can't rely on that apparently.

My mistake it wasn't the STU thread, it was the 2024 Projects thread..

Wow, thanks RobbieOh for finding the thread! I'm working with MAPerformance to see if the non-offset version has holes, I may try to replace them since I autocross and track the car regularly.

do X folks get the whileline offset bushing? that seems like the better option. I had it a while ago on my IX and it never gave me any issues. It even helped me fit 295s

think it's the same part. I've had the whiteline part as well. I believe it failed (any bushing is a wear item) and I switched to the superpro after that. Actually a big fan of their products overall.

i can see that if you dont have enough washers/spacer with the whiteline then it could break. this urethane bushing will be subjected to atf, heat, cleaners and one little nick can start a big crack. That might be detectable early but still quite risky for an autox car. urethane does not like to be stretched or twisted so make sure you dont let the suspension arm droop too much like when removing coilovers. I should add... dont let your control arm droop and let it sit like that for too long. and dont let anyone service your ball joints or else they will stretch that bushing to death

MAPerformance kept bugging SuperPro until they responded about the holes:
"Our apologies, the current product images are outdated and we are working to fix that.
As far as the bushing orientation while installed, it depends on what the customer plans on doing with the vehicle. For daily driving and time trials, we recommend the solid portion face inwards to the center of the vehicle to provide the greatest lateral support. For drag racing applications, we recommend the solid portion faces towards the rear of the vehicle for the most support under acceleration."

Which kind of admits that the solid portion provides more support than the drilled portion...
I received all 3 sets of DuroBalls, they all have holes.
Regarding Whiteline - I did the research a while ago and as I recall they had similar products but a few posts suggested the quality of their bushing material went down and now SuperPro is better. Some other posts suggested they are the same company or at least they make their products at the same factory... In hindsight possibly GroupN wouldn've been the best choice but I'll go with SuperPro now and we'll see how they hold up.

Question: I also read that someone filled up the holes with urethane. Anyone here has any feedback on that? Is it like this:
Amazon Amazon
?
