I'm not an evo owner, hell, I don't even own an import any more, but I've checked out this site for quite some time just as a lurker.

My deepest condolences to his friends, family, the evo community, and the online car community as well. My best wishes go out to all of you.

To Mark and to his family if they read this,

If it were not for Mark, I would have never had this community to join; never would have met the thousands of amazing people that I have here; never formed the many friendships that this site has fostered.

Because of Mark's efforts, more than 30,000 people are able to come here every day, meet, talk about their cars and their lives. That's millions and millions of connections between people that Mark has made possible, every day.

He will be remembered because his efforts are now a part of all of our lives.

RIP.

Whoa, I'm at lost for words. What KK has done for everyone is.... I can't think of a word to describe it. Not only did he make this community for lancer and evo owners, but it was also for fans. Also he made a community for people who don't really care much for the evo. I can honostly say that I have learned a lot from browsing these boards. And I don't know what to say.

I was thinking something along those lines as well. It would be a great way to remember the man who created this site and bonded us all together.

I have never spoken to Mark personally but :

I come to this site everyday and have been for the last year and a half , I have met great people and learned more than I ever would have thought I could about Automotive science thru this site.

For all that he has done and building such a great community for me to learn from I second someone else's suggestion of a paypal account where members can donate to the family of Mark in easing the costs associated with funerals

If anything It would mean alot to his family knowing what an important role he has palyed in all of our lives. Please someone make this happen. God rest his soul.

WOW my girlfriend and I were watching the news this afternoon and it caught our attention because we are going to Vegas next week. I didn't know Mark but from all these posts I can see that he was a good person and did not deserve to be taken away from this life so early. If anything I am sure that he will look down and be happy that the community he created will continue to flourish and we will all keep his creation alive for years to come. My condolences go out to his family and friends. RIP Mark...
