There should be an option to choose which version of evom I want to load because an iPhone on wifi was extremely fast with the old version.

this is great. But for some reason when I initially load the homepage there is no link to get to the forums. There is only a list of recent threads. I have an iPhone.

I had no loading problems before. I have had this phone for a month and never had a problem. it was setup just like my laptop. the site was the same.

I bought this specifally for evom. I drive truck for a living so I use this phone 4 hours a day on here.

I can't even find a link for my prevois posts or thrreads. It will take forever to find stuff.

I have a samsung pda with windows mobile.
this thing is as fast as my computer.

Can you change my account back to the regular. this version is useless for me.

 

I can't change the option for specific users. What i can do is offer an option for you to change the settings yourself. I can also make options available to you to make it easier for you to navigate using your phone. Meaning if you are looking for your previous posts and/or threads, I can make that as a item within the drop down. The style you are looking at is completely customizable so if I get suggestions on what to add, chances are I can add them.

 

That's awesome. Now if you could just get me an iPhone....

Should be a drop down that says "Mobile Navigation". Click on that and it will give you a drop down of options.

 

...would also be nice to have the control panel on the drop down.

 

Sweet man, browsing on my iphone is a lot quicker now. I noticed last night you didnt have post dates, or anything else like that but looks like today you changed it to include more info which is definately helpful.

As far as avatar pics... not sure if those are necessary or not unless they are further reduced in size versus the regular size.

 

Had a chance to play with today, here's the issues I noticed:

-Text size is inconsistent, but usually much smaller than other WEP sites. When reading posts, some have miniscule text while others are a normal, readable size.
-When viewing thread listings within a forum section, they're only listed on the left half of the screen, while the right half is left blank.

Honestly, this sucks on my Blackberry. It was perfect when I could view the forum using just the regular mode...

 

Odd. On mine, instead of columns, it's listed, and it's like the margin is set at 1" across the screen. Oddly, though, announcement threads are stuck on the right half of the screen.

Edit: it looks better when I turn off "fit to screen" on my phone. Strange.

 

Agreed, The site works great on the iPhone in its normal context
