Well, it all depends on how much $$$ you want to spend right now. If you have the loot...turbo all the way baby!! If you want to keep it simple right now, you can start with a cold air intake (approx. $100-$200) and a good cat-back exhaust (approx $325). I highly recommend the Magnaflow cat-back. Performance Peddler has recently been selling them to evom members for $305, but they may have changed by now...not sure. I'm sure they'll still hook ya up though.

From there, you could go with.....a header, intake manifold and a bored throttle body (just to name a few). You can then go with a piggy-back ECU at the end. You'll want to save that until the end, b/c the piggy-back maximizes the potential of all of your other mods.

I hope this helps ya out a little. I'm sure some of the other evom members will be along shortly to give you their advice. Good luck and welcome to the family!

Yes welcome to the club, but with an AUTO you will not be able to use a CAI. Only 5 speeds can use that.

Go to the US lancer tech forums and search through both the Engine tech and turbo/forced induction forums before you decide what to buy. The exhaust is something you will probably need anyway so if they are still going so cheaply then pick that right up.

Oops! Good catch...I meant to say a shorty intake like the RRM. It's too early on a Monday. ~YAWN~

if you're feeling itchy for an upgrade get a drop in K&N filter... from what i hear it's just as, if not almost as good as an sri

i'm pretty happy with mine, def notice some change as soon as you reset the ecu after installing it

dont spend so much money on NA mods when you could jsut spend a little more for a turbo.
