how would a moderately modified evo (intake,exh system,new clutch, bov, dp) do against these cars...

all cars except the R34 are RWD or FWD, so the evo would destroy it off the line.... on a highway pull, most of these maybe except the civic will beat the evo on the top end....

R34 will probably beat the evo either way

 

you should be able to take all of them from a stop except the skyline maybe even though it's extremely heavy

Ya you should be able to kill all of them. If you threw cams into the evo i would say you would get them all on the top end too. The skyline only runs a 13's 1/4 i believe stock so not too impressive. But it still is my dream car!!!!

MKIV n/a supra is a turd. Runs 15s stock (w/ stick. mid 15s auto). EVO would own it, off the line and top-end. I know, I used to own one.

 

In my experience:

raced a 350 w/ exhaust & few bolt on's and won

just traded my 94 Formula for my evo and have lot's of friends with LS1 car's.
98-00 stock LS1 vs Evo=drivers race
01-02 stock LS1 vs Evo=LS1

 

what is the 1/4 for the VR4? anyone know?

 

I have raced many Z06 corvettes when i had cams and exhaust "thats it" and would win everytime from a stop. From a roll it would be a good race till about 80mph and he would pull a half of a car on me. I then threw the boost controller in and took them nomatter what.

Now i eat them all for breakfast!!

I have also raced allot of VR4's and they are very slow. I think the potential is there but those thing weigh to much i think or somthing not sure but i was disapointed.

By the way the VR4 runs 14's or 15's in the 1/4 stock

the VR4 that i had before ran a 14.3 stock... 12.7 fastest time after a GTPRO make over

 

if ya want to get cute with the math, you should define what unit you are comparing...

 

evo kills them all

 

so how bout a evo with turboback, intake, cams, bigger fmic and piping, and a reflash...would it be able to take all of these cars on a street race? except for the r34

 

you would eat an r34 alive with those MODs
