Sun and Sound package

The evo I am getting has the sun and sound package. I know that the sound system comes with a 7 speaker infinity sound system but the head unit looks pretty basic. Does it play MP3's?

no it doesnt. it's pretty crappy looking. get a decent aftermarket unit and throw it in there.

oh jease- that sucks.... nice speakers but a lame head unit? No MP3's WTF? That's all I have!! lol

I threw JL's all the way around with a Pioneer DVD/CD/MP3 head unit...sound's hella-good.

Ok, but other than the head unit being ****ty how's the rest of the system?

I like it..it's not brain pounding but it sounds decent for factory.
