I installed it not too long ago, now I think it's kinda rice, and somebody in a C-Class asked me if it was a MR today

 

I don't know. I was planning on getting it for what it actually does and not try to imitate the MR.

 

I wasn't trying to imitate the MR, but i just thought that it look quite nice and more downforce is always welcome.

 

Its a part that actually has function. I don't think its rice at all. Putting a MR badge on is a different story.

The mitsubishi site offers the vortex generator as an option on all new 05's, even the RS which has no wing. Dealer option = not rice.

 

The generator is not "rice". I don't know how, but it creates considerable down force. Keep it.

 

Thats definitely rice. A wing on a civic is, for all but the most extreme cases, a completely useless addition. For most people it would just be more weight and drag. Remember, wings are for RWD and AWD cars while canards are for FWD and AWd, at least as a generalization.

 

Um... the scion has altezzas as a "dealer option" so are those not rice. IN all honesty EVO owners are getting just as bad as BMW owners when it comes down to "looking down" on what others do to their cars.
