evo guys answer this one!

hey this has been buggin the hell out of me. I trid takin my tape measure up to the dealer but when i extended it in front of the evo, they called SWAT, so i just have to ask since i don't know any evo owners.

Will the fenders fit on a USDM lancer?

I think so, but then you'll need new headlight, bumper, and hood. Someone has done an Evo 7 conversion and looks very good.

it can be done...but you would have better luck with the 7's panels...(which from i have have heard are swappable so either one)

things you would need:

new headlights, fenders...and maybe fabricate/ cut a new support the the new headelights


your problems doesnt really lie at the front fenders but more at the the rear...meaning door and the wide unibody rear quarter panel...
edit...a new hood may also be needed...

that makes since since the lancer was modeled after the evo 7. Just the body of the exo 8 is soooo sweet.

The answer is no, because of the headlight shape. The flare would be nice. But you would have to reskin the whole front clip. Than the bumper might not get the needed support because the under pans wouldn't be the same..... Blah blah blah.

I would suggest looking for replicas.

it could be done but you have to change out must of the front end to the evo.
