question about trade in of my lancer es
i was wondering if there is a way i can trade in my modded lancer es for a 2003 lancer evo in a dealership..
the mods in my lancer es:
evo7kit
progress springs
obx catback exhaust
kamikaze header
sparco racing seat
a touge rear dent...
jdm headlights
etc...
the mods in my lancer es:

So, yes they will trade but it will be for a stock lancer es, and I would highly doubt there going to make a trade from one to the other without you paying more on the evo. Sadly its not in there best intrest to make a trade like that, again not trying to be an *** but its true.
I traded my 03.5 Mazdaspeed protege towards my EVO and t hey only gave me 13k for it and the reason they gave me that much is because it was a limited edition vehicle they could mark up. Though they didnt care one bit for the mods or work I put into her, which I knew would happen.
So I would tell you to pull everything off the car and sell it to someone with an lancer es or oz and then trade yours in, so you will have trade in value and then some extra cash from your old mods.

Technically the more you mod your car, the more you devalue it. Risk of damage to the vehicle / people want to buy stock cars. Try selling it on ebay to a private buyer then use that to help pay for a Evo. Thats your best bet.
