my first manual car also, i have to say i still need the practice. i might just try and learn with a beater or some **** before i still drive around. im not trying to mess the clutch up.

Welcome aboard! Dont worry too much about your clutch, as long as you dont abuse it, it will last. My 03 evo was my first manual car and my clutch is rock solid at 23k

Thats funny cause I picked up my evo same day to.05 RS- and it was fun driving home 133 miles to east end of long island.It was hard to keep out of the pedal....breaking in and all.Congrats!!
