Question Considering buying an EVO VIII

I am thinking about buying a used 2003 or 2004 Evo, and I have some questions...

1. What, if any are the differences between the 03 and 04 models?
2. How reliable are the cars? I have been reading about failed transfer cases, and clutches going out, is the a big problem with these cars?
3. If I do decide to get one, anyone know how much insurnace for a 25 year old w/ a clean record in Minnesota would be?
4. What are some "can't live without" mods? I don't to make it much more powerful, but just curious as to what people think should be done. Please be specific as far as parts and manufacturers.

Thanks!

Com'n give this newbie a break and also wants to be an Evo owner. The differences between the 03 and 04 are almost nonconsequential. As far as mods, I think everyone will agree that you need to upgrade the exhuast and get a boost guage. There is just too much information you can get on the board so have fun with the Search.
