Question Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged

I no its not an Evo but what does everone think of the looks and performance of this car http://www.modernracer.com/chevroletcobaltsssup.html the new Chevy Cobalt SS supercharged. I personally think it looks sweet, much nicer then the SRT-4. Its not as fast as an EVO or SRT but it looks sharp and for the price your getting pretty good performance and looks. Any thoughts would be apprecited as well as experiences if anyone has driven or ridden in one. Thanks

200hp just doesn't seem like much, and it is a GM. They have the right idea, but they're not quite there, and there are better cars for the money (MSRP near $22,000). Doesn't seem to have anything notable for suspension, either. Got cheap in the brake department (non-vented).

I doubt we'll have a really good idea about the car until they're actually available and some people have tested them.

Actually, there's alot more in that car than you'd think.. It is underrated, plus it was tuned to that power level (likely can pick up another 50hp with a tune and pully change) for insurance reasons since the car is targetted to new drivers wanting a "quick little rocket" I'll guess there's alot more "hidden power" in there that hasn't been released yet.. partly for the reasons I stated, also to give people the ability to "Tune" their cars.. But that EcoTec motor is durable and will make power..

Personally I find the car to be pretty cool, although I wouldn't be interested in one myself, I can see my Fiance driving one.

Malibu is correct. GM is playing the pocket rocket card conservatively, and they are using a SC because of ease of application. Look at GM's line up . . . how many products have a SC to TC?

Believe me, you don't want the Big 3 designing/catering turbos on a car. Remember SRT uses partly Mitsu turbo.
