Cam effects on milage

How do the 262/272 cams effect the mileage of the Evo?
Also, how do most other mods (intake, exhaust, boost, etc.) effect mileage?

Gas milage? or the Milage or "life" of the car? Both would decrease I would assume

Mine went up by about 2 mpg after doing a stage 1 from BR with the walbro 255lph and a dynoflash
