best way to buy an evo IX (newbie)

Hey guys (and girls), I'm new to this website. I own a Jetta 1.8t now but I was looking to get an evo IX when they come out. How hard will it be to get an evo IX, is there a long waiting list? (I live in Bergen County, NJ). Also what would you guys say is the best way to buy an evo? It's going to be my second car so I don't have a lot of experience with the whole buying of cars. I'm still in highschool but I was looking to get the evo in a year or two (probably late 2006 early 2007), do you think I would have a problem getting one then because I know the evo X is coming out in 2007 sometime probably. I was wondering what the best way to buy it is because i'm kind of straped for cash because i'll have to be paying off a college loan too and I don't want to be in debt for the rest of my life. And incase your wondering why I wouldn't just get an evo X: I don't like the styling from what i've seen so far, and the 4G93 which is going to be in it, isn't a iron block . Anyway, thanks for help guys.

Not to be mean, but if you're gonna be strapped for cash...an EVO is not the way to go. You'll be looking at $500+ a month car payment plus insurance of over $200 a month, and that's if you have a perfect driving record since you'll be right about 20 years old. So if after your student loan payments, living expenses, GAS, etc...you still have a minimum monthly payment of $700 for an EVO. Just some things to think about before you jump into something. I hope it works out for you and you get one...they're awesome cars.

come on guys, don't flame him just cuz he's young. just answer his question. who cares how or why he wants to buy one.

i'm assuming you'll be making the payments? in this case, your best bet would probably be to have one of your parents buy it for you if they are willing. the title will be under their name and insurance will be cheaper too. save as much cash as you can for the downpayment to make it easier on your payments. good luck.
