Newbie with a question
Why not do it the easy way instead of beating around the bush? Why not call up your dealer service dept and find out? I know you want to hear a "No." But most likely, the answer is yes. Again, call and find out.
It's been stated millions of times before... Almost anything aftermarket can.
Get to know your service dept. I know my service guy would never give me a hard time about a simple blow-off valve. But, if there's a "big" issue and they have to get an "okay" from a regional manager or something by looking at the car, you never know...
You're obviously a newcomer to the site, so I ask, why would you replace the stocker anyway (in your case)?

First, IANAL
Second, No, a company can only void your warranty if what you modified causes a problem. If by installing a BOV you cause a house to become disconnected that results in a blown turbo, that is your problem. If it is installed correctly and the turbo blows, it is their problem. Most likely settled in court though unless your dealership is cool.
Third, it is an easy install but I recommend a MR diverter valve, unless you want noise and power loss.
Fourth, try what I did, pay the dealer to install it ($25) and then it is covered.
Good luck.
