Do you guys have a stock alarm system on your evo and how much did it cost? Any recommedations? I will be going into the Mitsu dealer end of this month to discuss financing and prob. the alarm. Any input would be greatly appreciated..

I was quoted $299 for a factory alarm. I might get it installed when I go back this weekend to get my Lo-Jack put in, I'll let you know more then if you haven't found out.

I think you can get a way better aftermarket alarm for 300 bucks. dont quote me on that though.

 

after reading around in the forums, many recommend autopage and compustar systems. i'm looking into compustar at the moment.

 

i just did some calling to find an installer in my area and the one closest to me poo-pooed both compustar and autopage citing instances where they've left customers stranded. they're recommending Magnadyne . i did some research and they seem like solid systems, am getting the m11a installed on Friday.

from the way it sounds, autopage isn't a bad system, it's the customer service on their end that really was sub-par.
