^You meant tire/wheel shop, right?

Go to a tire/wheel shop. Something local. Avoid dealerships unless you're really in need of getting it fixed. Dealerships charge $24.99 (South Coast Mitsubishi, Costa Mesa, CA)

I'm seriously hoping that the nail is on the tread and not the side wall. Otherwise you'd be in some serious trouble. Good luck to you.

i bring the whole car to pepboys @ Long Beach PCH and they are kind enough to tell me forehand that they couldn't fix it because it's a 17", and that the machine will scratch the hell out of it. They even suggest to go to goodyear tire shop to get it fix?
Now i'm home without anything fixed. luckily i have nother car to bring me to work tomorrow...
and yea.. the nail is just right in the middle... not side so lucky.. and yet unlucky to have this kind of trouble.

Can't believe pep boys couldn't fix that easy problem. Why don't you take it to the just regular auto shop such as exxon or amoco etc. I always get fixed there whenever I get a nail on the tire. Easy fix 10mins.

yea.... well Pepboys are kind enough to let me know that their machine won't take 17" rims. I've read many threads complaining about some tire shop scratch the hell out of the rims when they get the tire changed / fix and didn't care.
