Paint

Just Curious to see who has an aftermarket paint job? If yes what color. I would love to paint my evo Brown like UPS sorta, down the line. I was thinking making a poll for all the colors that would look good but way to many.

Well, if you want to change color, you should strip the car into its shell and paint it.

Graphite Grey and WEightless White are just so nice. I wouldn't change it. Unless I wanted to go WRC Rally Blue (WRX) or Daytona Blue (350)

my plans are to have my car repainted in the next couple of years. I want to go with a higher quality base coat clear coat that matches the oem color as close as possible. instead of the crappy single stage paint that's on there now.

Has anyone else noticed that Graphite Grey looks like primer when it's dirty?

I don't know if you winterize or not but have you seen a UPS truck in the winter? They kinda turn turd brown with the salt and mud. If you do a full color change the right way, it will run you over $5K.

Me too. After spending 6 hours detailing the car yesterday...and seeing all the chips, scratches,etc...I am thinking about repainting the whole car. My front bumper is really F'd up.

After the respray, Im having the clearbra put on it. at least on the high-assault areas like the front bumper, mirrors, lower rear fender/door area.

I'd really like to paint the engine bay also...but there's no way I will pull the engine to do it.
