23 or 24 can get you about a 1 year old Evo with relatively low miles...maybe around 10,000.

I had a Z when they first came out, Jan 03' -Dec 03', I had the LeMans. I thought it was a great car, but your are right, they need a little more power. They did come out with the anniversary edition which brought it up to 300 ponies, but I think the torque stayed the same! I agree, living in Baltimore, with the snow issues, it sucks, the Z had to stay in the garage alot. I will say the Evo has more bite to it, but there are no comparisons in the looks department. Then again, one is a two door, and one is a grocery getter! My buddy has a drop top Z, for the two weeks that my Evo was bone stock, we raced several times and I had the edge on him everytime, especially from a stop!! I would not suggest putting a turbo on the Z it is too expensive and you get minimal results for your money. Buy a used Evo and wait a little while and put a couple of bucks into and you will be glad you did!! Hope this helps!

I second that!!!!!!! I got my rally red 03 with 2500 miles on it in October, and I paid 25000$ plus tax. Get the evo, you wont regret it.

I own a 04 Track model back home, and it is nothing like the Evo (fun factor). My 350z is a Track model and Auto trans, never heard of comination here in the US.

I looked at the new Z back when it came out. I was sick of my "00" doggie bow wow Eclipse GT and was ready to trade. I liked a lot about the Z but not the serious lack of room. I could not get my golf clubs in it. Not to mention that I really couldn't get too excited about a 2 seater with a fixed top. I remain glad that I waited for the Evo (wimpy clutch and all).

Summers here, and the Zs a hot car, keep the Z and take good care of it, and go for an EVO in the Fall when the IX comes out, you should be able to get a leftover 04 or 05 VIII for cheap money. I bought a new no mile leftover 03 VIII for like $26000 with rebates. You will have to buy winter tires or at least good All Season (oxymoron) for the EVO cause the stock tires suck in snow/cold.

Trade it and get the EVO, no doubt about that. That's what I did, didn't paid off my car and took the evo. You'll like the evo and lets get more evo in jersey...
