New to the site, just bought an 03 Evo on the 15th for my birthday on the 20th. Nice present for myself. I'll try to keep this short, my buddy has an older 300Z, non-turbo, auto. It is still pretty potent, especially when I had a 5th gen prelude Before I got my Evo, he was talking about ordering a TT engine but waiting for a little while to do so, well since monday he put in an order two days later for the VG30Dett engine and tranny, pretty much the whole front clip accompanied with Random Tech down pipes, HKS I/C kit, pipe kit and SSQ BOV, HKS exhaust, ACT clutch with AASCO flywheel. Now if that isn't some respect, I don't know what is.

hehe I know the feeling, my friends and I always try to out do each other. I bought a vette, he had a neon, lol so he trades the neon for an SRT4. I had to sell the vette, bought a 2004 mustang gt, not fast enough for the SRT4 believe it or not. So I got an Evo RS, now he just bought some turbo goodies for his SRT4 just to keep up, hehe

Its all in good fun. And I've seen a few modded 300z TT's at the track, they are pretty potent. Buy some cams, intake, exhaust, reflash and you shouldn't have a problem. Welcome to

 

my brother owns a '90 300Z TT, pushing 424 at the wheels and i believe 412 of torque. FAST!!! hope your buddy's car goes well and let the games begin
