Cool Buying a Lancer soon..

Ok, I am saving up for my lancer now, I am going to get a 2003 o-z most likely, Now I am a highschool student a junior im 17 years old.. My friend owns a 2002 civic and my other a 2000 integra..I understand that the lancer isnt as powerful as the integra or the civic really but i know i can get the lancer to run with them with the right work ..what i was wondering is how much would it cost to get it up there (ball park)? both the integra and civic are stock..but soon the integra will have intake ...Just curious cause ive heard the lancer can go around 300hp and i thought that would be awesome, plus they didnt earn their cars like i am so it would be great to beat them!

the lancer should be ok against a stock non-si civic...

Against the integra you'll have to beef up the engine. but I did not see any dyno test of a lancer here.. to see improvements of exhaust, cat back, etc etc. Not a lot of parts are available for the lancer...

The Lancer should run alright against both. I believe it has more power than most stock non-si civics, not to mention a beefier powerband. As for the integra, barring that it's a GSR, you really shouldn't have much of a problem running with that, either, stock. However, I don't condone street racing, and think that you should take them to the track if the talk turns to smack. Especially an 1/8th mi.

id definitely say that you can beat the both of em...... intake, exhaust, and headers can do the trick..... if thats not enough then go get it turbocharged.... if it still isn't then get some nos..... hahaha but im defintely sure that those first three mods should do the trick....

Hell yeah. I'm jealous of people who get handed stuff for nothing. I hate Justin Timberlake for that very reason. "I'm pretty, and I can do choreographies... gimme money!" Bastard.

a stock lancer will smoked a stock civic easily(depend on your skill too) but an integra, you'll have to crank the engine up a little bit
