New to the board

Hi everyone, I'm just introducing myself. I picked up a stock 2004 Ralliart and I have to say that it is far and away the best car I've ever owned. Every car I've ever had so far was a domestic grocery getter (Pontiac 6000, 89 Olds Cutlass Sup, 99 LeSabre), but this car is completely different from what I've previously had.

I've spent some time looking around the boards and looking at performance upgrades for the Ralliart and I have a half question/half comment, and another question. One of the potential problems for performance upgrades I see with the Ralliart (especially mine since it's an auto) is that it's a (realatively) big engine in a small car. There's barely any room to do anything under the hood because it looks like Mitsu just lubed up the internals with turboglide and crammed the whole thing in the engine bay. I mean, the RRM turbo kit faces backwards; that's got to rob it of some performance. To me, it would seem to make sence (sp?) that for a force-fed ralliart, a mod to move the battery to the trunk would be logical. It would free up room in the engine bay and make it easier to put a blower in there; or any aftermarket intake for that matter. Has anybody looked into this at all?

Also, does anybody know if a pulley kit for the 2.4 Mivec is being worked on?
