Noob in need of Help with Taillights and Headlights MR

Hey everyone im sorta new to these forms but Im new to Mitsubishi Cars but not to modding.

I have a 05 EVO VIII with no options on it whats so ever (But its not the RS model before I confuse anyone) Im going to go with MR Tail lights and MR Headlights. I dont have HID's or Fog lamps so Im going to be converting the front headlights to HID's and "Maybe" the Fog lamps. My Questions are.

1. Are the MR Tail Lights just direct "Plug and Play" with my stock ones or are their modifications needed to make it?

2. How hard would it be for a guy that had a little bit of electronic experence to convert my Ugly Stock headlamps to Hid's and install the MR Headlight housing?

3. Bonus: Also Im gonna probley buy the CF Vortex seen on the MR's. This looks pretty easy as long as you have 2 people. Is it?

4. Bonus: I also saw a Picture of the Defi D Boost gauge that Im gonna buy, even if it hurts my pockets lol. But is it easy to wire up the gauge to where its actually used like a boost gauge and not some cheezy gauge that just moves? lol. Also I wanted to mount it onto the Steering Colinum(sp) and I saw a pod that does it but I dont want to Screw into the back area of my Steering wheel just incase I mess up or I dont want it in that spot anymore and have holes their.

Sorry for the long post and/or the fact that this probley has been answered but again I am a noob Thanks again.

Alex

i got #'s 1 and 3 for you:

1) yea, you can just replace your current head and taillights with the new ones.

3) you can do it by yourself. just pop off the weatherstripping type stuff, open the trunk for extra room, slap the VG on, then snap the things back down. oh yea, take off antenna before any of that.

Answer for #2 im not 100 % sure but the job is not the difficult, its just time consuming cuz u got to take the bumber off, convert the haedlamps, ect so its just time consuming but not something that is very difficult. Also money, if u got alot of it yeah someone can do it for u pretty easy but if u dont, well i hope u got a friend u can trust. as for #4 u can buy a back steering colinum that has the the hole or spot for the guage. The only downside is it may block ur view and its a one size fit all. lancershop has them, but i dont know if they fit the 60mm guages, i know they fit the 52's but im sure someone has it, gl.
