handling
hows the handling on the OZ rally? and the cornering? im just wondering cuz im looking at getting one and i have a bmw now, and im used to going around turns at like 80, would i still be able to do that without sacrificing handling? im not trying to diss lancers or anything, its just that i dont really like front wheel drive
what "turns" are you taking at 80? i wouldn't expect BMW performance out of a $15,000 car. but as far as inexpensive, fwd cars go, i have to say the lancer surprised me as far as handling. getting a new sway bar, springs and struts, and strut brace will definitely help a lot, along with good rubber.
Rasputin is right... a Lancer is not a BMW, hence it doesnt have the performance of one. The Lancer is basically a economy sports-sedan that wont kill insurance and sort of satisfies the need to have a bit of "sportiness" in your car. If you want Handling and Speed, the Lancer is not a car for you, but if you want a decent affordable car... go ahead and buy one
I'm in NO way dissing the Lancer, I have one and I ABSOLUTELY love it. She's my baby and my baby will be spoiled rotten!
