Hi, i'm not new but...

Hi, i'm not new, but I've never got to introduce myself.

well, i bought my car out of compulsive reasons, since I was driving a Volvo 960 for my work (management) since my prelude couldn't cut it as the whole "business image".

But I'm glad I bought the evo. I met some real interesting and nice people through this community.

I was in the Import scene ever since I could remember, around 91 when it really started to be an inline thing... not like today's import tuner shows that's popping up all over the place.

All we had was the super street magazine and home made how tos with various elementary products out throughout the early part of 90's.

anyway, the reason I bring that out is because I've never met a community of people who drives the same car, who comes from various different backgrounds that could get along so well, unlike many "cliques" of the import scene.

Well, at least the southeast community seems that way for the Evolution Owners.

So, I just wanted to get that out and I'm glad mitsubishi decided to bring the Evo's to the state and maybe we could thank Suburu for that in some sense, Since the unexpected success of WRX on the Subura part.

This boards been great. We have a lot of people who's very insightful and skilled on their knowledge and some funny people who loves cars.

I hope we could continue this, although the rumor says the Evo 10's the last one.

I also want to thank This board. Evolutionm.net helped me decide and launch our own Evolutions Owners club in the South East area.

Without the Evolution, a lot of things could of been very different for me. I would probably still work at some boring management position, and I wouldn't have met all the unique individuals with their unique personalities and I wouldn't have had the time of my life last year and still going on this year.

and I probably... definitely wouldn't have met my GF, who also drives an Evo.

So, Hi, thanks, and cheers!
