What the heck is a catch cam ?

I was planning on buying one for the evo but i want to know what it is and how does it work ?

It is placed between the intake and the valve cover to catch blow by oil/grime etc. It's purpose is to prevent this grime from collecting in the turbo. You can also just put a breather filter on the valve cover and plug the hole on the intake, it will serve the same purpose.

Yes it was catch can, sorry about the typo and i haven't bought it yet, thats the purpose of this thread

I have one installed on my current car, and its been a great investment. Since the installation, I now no longer have any oil in the intercooler and turbo hoses. Having all of this stuff out of the hoses does prolong turbo life, so its a good investment.

mmmm chrome can looking thing... must buy.... lol... anh but u should go ahead and get it... as mentioned above a clean engine is a good running engine + it adds sum bling under the hood. Check out the one made by weapon R it fits onto the strut brace and looks very nice!!!
