whats the difference between an evo 8 and a evo rs. how con i tell the difference.

the rs is still an 8. but the difference is that the rs has no abs, no rear wing, and no power windows. it's also not supposed to have a/c or a radio but i've heard from rs owners that the usdm evos have them equipped. the rs is just a lighter evo.

 

evo 8 aka GSR has a evo wing has abs and has all the goodies ie sound system, power door locks power windows interior trunk pieces to cover bare metal. The rs is wingless, no abs, no sound system, no power windows doorlocks, no pieces covering unecesarily covered trunks for weight reduction, the rs does have the 3 guage cluster, battey voltage, boost meter oil temperature.

cool thanks alot guys. this site and every1 on here is ***in pimp. very helpful. went to hwo to section and got wiring diagram to mount turbo timer, and there was also someone who posted how to partial remove front bumper to change bulbs. directions for both were perfect and hid' sand turbo timer work great. thanks for all the help guys.

 

RS has aluminum roof and GSR doesntm and RS has unpainted door handles and side mirrors (yes, it makes it lighter, probably a few OZs.)

... right?
