Couldn't wait... Got the Tarmac Black Evo 8!!!

I took the day off from work tomorrow and was supposed to go to the dealer to shop for the evo, but i couldn't wait any longer!!! Left work early and put my $1000 down and another payment of $32k for the whole car. I can't wait to get it!! Too bad i could only get him to invoice price... with the SSL package.

Hey quick question everyone, should i get the etching? Is it really worth it? It's 200 bucks for me to get it...

Pics will be up later this week

Welcome aboard!

I wouldn't pay 200 for the window etching. Reason 1) that's why you have insurance 2) if you want to get it etched, it's easy enough to do yourself

Enjoy the car!

Etching is where they engrave ur VIN onto every single window of your car. if say the car is stolen your insurance is supposed to pay u an additional $2500 on top of what they are already giving you. It's supposed to lower insurance premium as well

Congrats.. I traded in my 03 RR for a 05 wicked white with ssl today.

Got it for 31,750 before TT&L, plus a little negative equity on top of that. All in all a good deal, my payment stayed the same. Not to mention I got the 2.9% financing. I've had a smile on my face all day. As I'm sure you have too.

Mine came with the etching all over the car, I paid $299 to activate it if it's stolen. . . I might get a lo Jack as well, but not spending a dime on a conventional alarm since if they're going to steal it, they're going to steal it, I'm more worried about recovery. . . .

Here's a pic of my new EVO... the dealer did a crappy *** job prepping it.. Just a light rinse, no wax or anything!! and there's still glue from the stickers stuck on the car!!
