burning your clutch it better then breaking your tranny.

slipping is like letting the clutch go slowly and letting it grab a little. I dont really know how to explain it.

I have seen this also. I think it is because they can afford to break something as we are not as able to afford it(well i know i am not about to afford a new tranny or clutch every once in a while).

I really do not know the correct way ask warrtalon or something he says he can help people drag so i'd go to him.

The stock clutch will 'slip' on it's own. Just dump it (let it out quickly) at ~5k and you should get a good launch. Now after you fry your stocker and get a aftermarket one you will need to learn how to slip it (pull clutch out as it grips while modulating throttle).

+1^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^+1 what he said, you need to learn how to slip clutch. By slipping the clutch you will put less strain on drivetrain.

Rev the RPM's up to 7k. When light turns green, dump the clutch and hilarity will ensue....

i talked to freind who is japanese an told me that when they run this cars in there country they dump the clutch about 6000rpm no more no less!!! cause if i slip it bye bye clutch so i guess i will dump it i asked him about transfer case problems or transmision problems he said none at all if you dump it. you can only slip the clutch if you have a modified one in it thats what he says and i believe him!!!
