BOV and A/F Mixture

Ok, so if you don't go with a recirculating BOV it messes up your A/F mixture and makes the engine run rich, correct? Will a tune help solve this problem or is the only solution to go with a re-circ.?

You are correct. The Vent to Atmosphere (VTA) BOV's will cause a temporary lack of air, causing a rich fuel mixture. This will make you drop RPMs after shifts, lead to increase turbo lag, and overall crappy performance. Get an open element cone air filter to replace the stock airbox and you will hear the turbo and the stock bov alot more. Trust me, you won't even worry about that crap once you hear how good our stock stuff sounds when you open up the intake.
