hi friends today i put my car on the balance to check its weight its 2005 evo 8 rs jdm model i had a half tank of fuel and i removed my spare tire and jack the weight was 3004lbs without me !!! why is it that the 2005 rs usdm model has a weight of 3197lbs pounds this is what mitsu claims on the internet site????

Does the JDM spec and the USDM spec have differnt crash/reinforcement bars? Just a guess....

 

may be who knows?? what i know is that the rear bumper looks different when comparing the jdm and usdm !!!
