Short shifter kit

I was wondering about the short shifter kits that are available. Has anyone purchased one that was great or even worse, just horrible? I need some input on consumer satisfication. Any names rig a bell ?

Oh and does the bushing kit that most shops advertise along with the shifter really make somewhat of a difference or do they just make your wallet lighter?

A good idea would to do a search and I am sure you can find information of the shifters out there. Personally I havent heard anything bad about either of the B&M shifters. And B&M has been around for a long time, so they must be doing something right..

I've purchased the Authority short shifter from LancerShop. I have it sitting at my house right now ( i'm deployed overseas ) but i've heard a lot of good things about this shifter. It's available in a kit with bushings and such for just over 100 bucks too. Not a bad deal in my book.
