So I had an 03 rsx type-s with some light work done to it. I had been doubling up my payments so I could stay on top of principal when out of the blue my buddy calls me from the nissan dealership and tells me a black 04 Evo Vlll w/ 14k miles was traded in on a 350z roadster. I nearly shat myself right then and commited to a test drive that night. I drove it and immediatly hated my existing car : o ). 2 days later (Tuesday) it was mine! I've been wanting an Evo for awhile but I considered it one of those dream only cars because of price. I ended up getting it for 24,000 and she's in mint condition. They actually gave me a bit over my payoff on my acura so I am super happy. I had built a custom computer for the dude that sold me the car so he worked the price for me. The only thing thats been done to the car is an AEM sri. Anyhow, I just wanted to greet myself and share the good news man!

I'm steadily reading up and solidifying a path to 320/330 on the ground w/ the stock turbo. I'm going to wait a few more months, its my first AWD car and I feel like if I started feeding it money I wouldn't fully appreciate any mods until I'm much more familiar with the car. Thats one thing I regret with my rsx type-s. Hell, the first month I had the car my ecu was in Hondata's hands and on went I/H/E. I dont really care about show so I didn't move on to the outside other than some 18" konig holes and a eirubini c/f hood. Then... my progress halted for like 6 months. Anyhow, long story short I dont want to miss anything with my Evo and so far every time I drive more than 10ft she amazes me. I'll ride on that high as long as I can.

U'll love it trust me ,my m3 has been parked and driven 4 times since i got the evo and just sold the m3 tonite !!!

congrats but i have to say one thing dont rag the type s hondas are great!my bf has one, and hes done some work to it. I almost enjoy driving his as much as mine. But hey enjoy the evo shes great!
