Hello everyone!!! Thought i'd say hi now that i finally have my EVO. I posted pics herein case you want to see them.

 

Very Interesting. The IX not only has the smoked tails and JDM MR DV, but also the MR has the JDM MR badge. I don't know why they couldn't have just given us that stuff last year. No one would ever have to worry about all these ridiculous aftermarket BOV arguments if we all started off with the JDM MR DV...we'd also have less people being forced to change their badging on the rear. I guess now we can buy the JDM MR badge for cheap from those IX MR owners who switch to the UK badge.

What are the benefits of the JDM MR DV? Holds boost better or less of a taper? Pardon the ignorance, thought I'd ask. . .yeah, I feel for you man, the IX's have new seats, different location of badging, etc. . .

 

It's metal instead of plastic and has a stiffer spring, which allows it to hold boost without leaking up to 24-25psi instead of 13psi, which is where my stocker leaked when I tested it. It sounds like stock and looks exactly like stock except for the silvery metal appearance, and performs like stock (driveability/idling) except for holding much higher boost effectively.

Looks nice. Looking and the pics., you said "my first mod". I thought the MR came with the Vortex Generator. Also, how come the tail lights looks like one of those blacked out style that some of the members do here.?

PS, that damn JDM MR DV is sold out everywhere, temped to just buy the WORKS DV, if I need to up the boost. . .

 

the vg does come standard on the mr
the perrin short antenna does not
