I just picked up an 05 silver apex like 2 weeks ago. Anyhow I noticed when I first bought the car that the owners manual was not there. So I told the dealer that I dont have the manual...so he was like " I'll go get one for ya ". So he gave me the manual and I just stuffed in my glovebox with glancing at the cover. the cover says " 2005 lancer owners manual " my question is ...isn't there supposed to be an lancer evolution owners manual instead of the regular lancer manual?? cause when my brother picked up his srt 4 like 3 years ago...his manual didnt say " neon " it said " srt4 owners manual " so like 3 days ago I noticed it was the regular lancer manual...anyhow I just wanna know if there is an evolution manual so I can go complain to the dealer that there f*ckers and gave me the wrong book....

Yes, there is a specific Lancer Evolution manual for every year the car is made. You can go to the dealership to ask them for the right one. Depending upon their customer service, they might switch it out for you or they might blow you off saying that you should have noticed to before you drove the car home.

I suggest you go to the dealership and give them hell! Mitsu dealers should hold themselves accountable for their actions and try to improve their customer service image especially with us Evo owners. Good Luck!

 

Right on the front of the manual it should say Lancer Evolution. Well at least mines does if I recall correctly. I just bought my car 2 weeks ago also.
