Not sure if this goes here but ......

I was wondering if when you install an intake and upper ic piping on an 03 evo does it actually hinder the HP or does it give gains? Because i dont see how more air would not allow more HP to form! Unless the ECU is that GHEY!

You might want to search They say If you put an intake on the car you should get a flash to optimize power. Ive heard that some turbo cars can run lean with an intake untuned hope this helps

I had the Helix intake on for a while and didn't feel a difference. Vishnu suggested that I return to stock when running the XEDE and I did. I didn't feel any loss. Vishnu also told me that they have performed numerous tests and found out that the OEM intake setup is the best. Hope that helps.
