Intercooler Problems (plz help)
Hello Everyone,
This is my first post so I’ll make it to the point. I started w/ the RRM non-intercooled kit and added an intercooler to it. I’m havening some issues like anything over 3K rpm (when not boosting) and my car runs rich. Also, if I punch it in first gear, it’ll backfire when I hit the clutch (such as changing into second or hitting the brakes). The last thing is the turbo used to spoon @ 2500rpm and hit 5 pounds @ 3K. Now, it take until 4K to fully spool. Does anyone have any advice or is this just the way it is ??
Here’s my set up:
RRM non-intercooled t-28 turbo kit
XO2 Racing intercooler
RRM header
ACT stage 2 clutch & pressure plate
Custom cat-back exhaust
