Where shud navi go??
yo yo..i wanna put in a navigation in the mr im abt to get...i wanna put that badboy in on top of the dash, but ive hurd i shud put it under the center console..any suggestions??
Dam, That is hard to read and understand. But, from what I can read it seems like you want to put a navigational system in your MR. Well here is some suggestions. You can only put them in your dash where the orignal radio used to be. The vents will blow right in the back of the flip up monitor with is minor. Putting a navi on top of the dash needs a slot of work and custom fabrication. Leave it were the radio used to be alot of less headaches and money.

LOL
But yea me and my girls Uncle were talking about getting them and where we were going to put them
who are you calling a yo yo. seriously keep it where the stock stereo is at. I have the pioneer avic-n1 and you could see it well there. I was thinking about relocating it where the mini storage compartment is at and put my gauges where the stock stereo is at but I didn't want to keep looking down at the screen.

in a 350z, or a lincoln navigator, or any other suv that is big enough for a stupid soccer mom to get distracted by a screen that talks because she doesn't know how to get where she needs to go, so she can kill lots of people by plowing into them going 60+ miles an hour because for some reason people think suvs are sports cars. the s in suv does not stand for sports car... it stands for sports as in the soccer in soccer mom.

No. He can install it on top of the dash. Maybe hes talking about the kind of navigation system that is made to just suction cup onto the dash, and not the D1 or N2 or one of those console mounted units. If its just an individual navigation system that you want to install and not a navi/headunit/radio/cd whatever, it can be as simple as one cord. If thats the case, go for it. on top of the console would be easier to read than trying to get it low
