help..03 OZ gauges on 02 LS

this is probably a newbie question, but will '03 OZ gauges fit on my '02 LS?

Moving to newbie forum because this could easily have been answered with a search. Yes. The gauge pods in ES/LS/OZ's area all swappable from shape harnesses.

Of course, unless you know someone who can set the new gage pod to the milage of the old gage pod, your resale value drops to nil. TMU- True Mileage Unknown is the same thing as saying "my car was totalled". Just something to consider.

I think the mileage is stored somewhere else on the car. I have taken off my speedometer and driven, than replaced it later and it works fine still.

i think ghostrider got oz gagues for his es and lost miles. i think its stored in the pod unit itself ..

Correct, sir. The mileage is actually stored in the cluster and not in the ECU. I lost about 9k miles when I swapped clusters, and I'm still debating whether I should get the difference notarized to hopefully aviod TMU problems.

so how would anyone but u know the actual milage of the car if you replace the oz gauge? is there something in the ecu thats says the mileage shown is wrong or something?
