Well i got my Evolution and have some issues...

Taking the car in for service on the trans (noticed a weak grind on the entry from 2-3 and from 4-5) I found the TSBs for it on the forum (thanks) and hopefully they will be replacing the syncros and speed gears under warrenty.

A Question i had was of a transfur case noise(or so i think) its a gear whine as i decelerate into turns (not a turbo whine), i was curious if this is normal on the evolution.

Keeping in mind that i will be doing my best to keep my warrenty, here is a list of mods id like to take and id like to hear any re-placement, recomendations anyone has.

Boost Gauge....Defi & gauge pod from lancer shop
Works Axle Back Exhaust.....not expecting huge gains, just alittle throatier car
Works Filter....better alternative to K&N?
Works Diverter Valve.....dont want a ricy BOV but would like to replace the plastic stock piece.

First off, mitsu has to replace your synchros under warranty because its a TSB, they did mine. Just a tip, if you're plannaing on getting an aftermarket clutch installed at any time, the synchro replacement is a good time to do it, because most of the labor to do a clutch will be on Mitsu.

I think your mod list looks good, the only thing i'd suggest is to get at least a catback exhaust on the car, you'll probably be wanting more in a couple of months.

the reason i went with works was that i could buy the intermediate pipe should i want in the future...

THanks for the tip about mitsu....do i need to wave the TSB in their face or is it an easy sell as far as getting them to do the work?

The mods should be fine, but I wouldn't do the Works BOV. YOu don't need to replace the stocker until you start pushing more than stock boost with an MBC, EBC, or boost-controlling flash. Until then, getting a BOV would be for pure aesthetic reasons, which doesn't really fit in with the other mods on your list.
